Harbour Lights is a Weymouth Guest House, situated on Buxton Road, which is the A354. We are .8 of a mile to Weymouth Town Bridge, which spans Weymouth Harbour to the Town Centre.
The “Isle” of Portland and the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy, venue for the 2012 Olympic Sailing events, is about three miles in the opposite direction.
There is a very good bus service between Weymouth and Portland, and frequent buses stop just a few metres from Harbour Lights to both destinations, including open-top buses to Portland Bill in summer. The buses pass near the bus station and railway station en route to Weymouth Town Centre, beyond which lies the main beach.
Within easy walking distance of our guest house, is the Rodwell Trail, a tranquil, leafy pedestrian and cycle path, formerly a railway line, leading to Chesil Beach and Portland Harbour in one direction and Radipole Lake RSPB Reserve in the other. The Nothe Gardens and Fort are a pleasant stroll away, as are Weymouth Old Harbour, the Beach, Castle and Gardens at Sandsfoot and the South West Coastal Path.
Distance to Hope sq or town bridge is just .8 of a mile or 1400 yds.
